Judy and Sheldon’s office is located in the Regus building on the corner of Pennsylvania Drive and Eagleview Blvd in Exton. One of the many things that we believe sets Amada Senior Care Chester County far above other senior care agencies in this area is our commitment to personalizing the care we provide for each client. All home-care aides may help with tasks like cooking or cleaning, but Amada caregivers strive to go beyond that to make every day special.
Once we get to know each clients’ unique needs, personality, and preferences we can find ways to create experiences that mean the most to them. For one senior, this may mean baking cookies from their mother’s recipe together. For another, we might organize a weekly bridge game with old friends or dig up some old jazz records to listen to. When we are able to do things that bring a genuine smile to a client’s face, we know we are providing them with the compassionate care they deserve.
At Amada Chester County, we realize that what we do affects not only our senior clients, but also the people who love them and who worry about them. When a family member has a need you can’t fulfill, it is common to feel frustrated and even helpless. By involving a seniors’ loved ones in our care plans and remaining in frequent communication with them, we gain deeper insight into our clients’ needs and also ease concerns about his or her safety, quality of life, and comfort.
It is our intention to guide our clients and their families through all aspects of senior care. If it becomes apparent that a home environment is no longer best for a senior, we help them find the assisted living environment where they will thrive. If a family is concerned about the cost of senior care, we help them take advantage of resources like veterans’ benefits and long-term care insurance to make funding more manageable.

Senior Housing Advising
When a senior is no longer able to live at home, the process of selecting and transitioning to a care community can be overwhelming for both the senior and his or her loved ones. At Amada Senior Care Chester County, we encourage our clients to rely on our extensive experience and knowledge of the best assisted living communities in the area so that they can make confident decisions about the next step.
Since we at Amada have spent years forming relationships with senior living communities in Chester County and surrounding areas, we have in-depth knowledge of each place and can help you find the one that meets your unique needs. If a client requires significant help with activities or daily living or access to complex medical services, we can guide that family to the best nursing home for their situation. For seniors who don’t need as much assistance and are able to live more independently, we can recommend the assisted living community where they will be happiest.
In addition to guiding seniors and their families to the senior living community that will provide the care they need, we feel it is equally important to help our clients find the community that is most compatible with their personal preferences, such as location, activity level, culture, and social life. This way, we can be sure that seniors will thrive in their new environment.
We understand that cost is often a major factor in a family’s selection of an assisted living community. However, we at Amada believe that no senior should receive inadequate care due to budget concerns. We have become experts at helping our clients explore and take advantage of every option for senior care funding, such as long-term care insurance, veterans’ benefits, and even life insurance. With our support and advocacy, many of our clients have been surprised to learn that they can afford to move to the community of their choice.

Home Care Technology so You can “BeClose”
We at Amada have found a way to combine our extensive senior care experience with the latest technology to enable many of our clients to keep living independently at home while their loved ones are confident in their safety. With our revolutionary BeClose remote care system, your senior loved one can go about their day at home with very few changes, and you can keep a “virtual eye” on them to be certain they are safe and comfortable.
BeClose is not a single product, but a full home monitoring system each family can customize to meet their own needs. Some of the most popular devices in the BeClose line include medication monitors, emergency alerts, indoor and outdoor security cameras, and even automated door locks and thermostats. These products are all designed to visually blend into any environment, and the entire system sends up-to-the minute updates to families through a secure mobile app. BeClose can also notify families if a potentially concerning change in a senior’s routine or behavior patterns occurs, so they can quickly assess the situation and intervene if necessary.
With technology by Amada Senior Care, families can “BeClose” to the seniors they love from anywhere. If you think BeClose may be a good solution for your senior care needs, contact Amada Chester County to learn more during a free Care Needs Consultation.
Senior Care Assistance for Veterans
Many of the veterans we have the honor to care for were not aware of all of the government programs and resources available to help them pay for senior care until they joined the Amada Chester County family. We have made it a priority to ensure every senior gets the highest quality of care, and programs such as the VA Aid and Attendance benefit can significantly ease financial burdens for our veterans and their surviving spouses. We can help you learn about, apply for, and make effective use of Aid and Attendance and other veterans’ programs. Click here for a Free Veteran’s Care Needs Consultation.
Four Main Points of Aid and Attendance Eligibility:
- To qualify for Aid and Attendance, a veteran must have served at least one day of active duty during wartime, and a total of 90 days’ active duty overall.
- Veterans with dishonorable discharge do not qualify for this benefit.
- Aid and Attendance benefits are specifically for qualified veterans and spouses who require help with activities of daily living from another person.
- ADLs can include eating, bathing, dressing, walking, and cognitive impairment.
- The majority of an applicant’s income must currently be spent on care.
- Benefits are awarded, up to a set maximum, based on the percentage of income spent on care.
- Claimants must not have assets in excess of a limit set by the VA.
- This limit is determined by age and financial need, among other factors.
Aid and Attendance benefits are not charity: our wartime veterans and their surviving spouses earned this support and the unending gratitude of our country through their service. These benefits are:
- Paid directly to claimants every month by the US Treasury.
- Paid in addition to military pensions.
- Tax free.
- Not subject to repayment as long as claimant remains eligible.
