Amada Senior Care Denver West
Solar Martinez, Jeff and Amy Culler, and Josh Zuieback, owners of Amada Senior Care Denver West, believe that every senior deserves to receive the highest quality of care and to age with dignity. Part of the way we ensure this for our clients at Amada Northwest Denver is to offer a wide array of senior care options and develop customized care plans to suit each senior’s unique situation.
At Amada Senior Care Denver West, we have learned through both personal and professional experience that there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to senior care. We take the time to truly understand the needs and motivations of each of our senior clients as well as their loved ones, because we know that senior care is often a family decision. We then use this knowledge to provide the best solution to meet their physical, emotional, and financial needs.
When clients wish to remain living at home but require help with certain activities of daily living, we match them with the caregivers who will not only ensure their safety, but interact in such a way as to enrich their lives.
If a senior is unable to afford or resistant to full-time in-home care, we can offer reduced caregiver hours so that they can get the help they need but still maintain independence. Another unique option for situations like this is our BeClose remote care system, which allows families to check in on independent seniors from anywhere in the world.
For seniors who are no longer thriving at home, we encourage them and their families to rely on our extensive knowledge and experience as senior housing advisers. This is a free service we offer because we genuinely want the best for our clients. We provide referrals to senior living communities throughout the Denver area, including Broomfield, Westminster, Arvada, Wheat Ridge, Jefferson County, Gilpin County, Lakewood, and beyond.
One issue that is common to most of the seniors and families we serve at Amada Denver West is a concern about the cost of senior care. Again, we insist on making sure that every senior has access to the highest quality of care. We will sit down with families to help them find the best way to pay for the care their loved one deserves. This may be accomplished through veterans’ benefits, long-term care insurance, life insurance, or other non-traditional payment methods they may not be aware of.
When it comes to senior care in the Northwest Denver area, Solar Martinez and the team at Amada Senior Care are your most essential resource. We will guide you through every step with wisdom, understanding, and compassion until you are certain you have found the best option for your loved one.

Senior Housing Advising
For many of the seniors and families we have worked with at Amada Denver West, the decision to pursue assisted living is emotionally exhausting—and it is only the beginning of the process. Once clients decide that senior housing is the right option for them, they and their loved ones need to find the specific care community that will meet all of their needs, determine how they will pay for assisted living, and finally, make the transition and adjust to a new home.
We understand how overwhelming this can be, and we’re here to guide you and your family through every step.
The team at Amada Denver West provides free senior housing advisory services because we feel compelled to share our knowledge and experience so that our clients can feel confident they have found the best possible placement for their unique situations.
Over the years, we have developed working relationships with all of the best residential care communities in this area. This helps us to direct families to the community or facility that will provide the necessary level of care for their loved one. For seniors who require access to on-site complex medical services, a nursing home is probably the best place to keep them safe and comfortable. If a senior is still relatively independent, he or she may be happiest in an assisted living environment that offers less support but a more active lifestyle. We can also refer families to board and care facilities, memory care communities, and other senior housing options in the West Denver area.
Many seniors and their loved ones believe that life in an assisted living environment is monotonous, dull, and impersonal, but this is most certainly not the case. We can direct you and your family to the community that offers the activities, lifestyle, and social culture that will allow you to thrive.
If you fear that you and your family can’t afford the community of your choice, we’ll help you investigate all resources and payment options available to you, such as veterans’ benefits, long-term care insurance, life insurance policies, and more.
With guidance from the compassionate senior housing advisers at Amada Denver West, seniors and their families can feel confident that they have found the ideal care community for them. We provide referrals to a range of placements, including:
- Assisted living communities
- Large and small communities
- Independent living communities
- Board and care homes
- Adult family homes
- Senior care homes
- Skilled nursing facilities
- Alzheimer/dementia communities
Home Care Technology
For many years, families had very limited options to choose from when it came to senior care. At Amada, we realize that what works for one family might not work for another, and we are determined to provide the care solution that is exactly right for your loved one. Our revolutionary BeClose remote care system is one of many unique options we are pleased to offer.
BeClose is a home monitoring system that combines our knowledge of our clients’ needs with the latest technology to allow seniors to remain independent for as long as possible. We offer products such as indoor/outdoor cameras, button-free alarms for falls and emergencies, automated door locks and thermostats, and even food and medication monitors—and families pay only for the products they need. When BeClose is in place in a senior’s home, he or she can go about life as usual and the system sends real-time updates to family members through a secure mobile app. BeClose even notifies families when changes in a senior’s routines are detected so that they can re-evaluate their care plan if necessary.
BeClose is our new way of providing the essentials of senior care: allowing seniors to maintain dignity and assuring their loved ones that they’re safe. To learn more about BeClose and other options, contact Amada for a Free Care Needs Consultation.
Veterans Assistance Programs
So many of our clients at Amada Denver West have expressed concerns about paying for senior care that we made it our business to become experts in senior care payment options. In many cases, we can help clients take advantage of resources they may not have known about to receive significant financial support, such as the VA Aid and Attendance benefit. This program is designed to help wartime veterans and their surviving spouses pay for assistance with activities of daily living. At Amada Senior Care Denver West, we are dedicated to helping individuals who are eligible for VA and other types of financial support take full advantage of these resources. How is Aid and Attendance Eligibility Determined?
- To qualify for Aid and Attendance, a veteran must have served at least one day of active duty during wartime, and a total of at least 90 days’ active duty overall.
- Dishonorable discharge renders veterans ineligible for this benefit.
- Aid and Attendance is specifically for veterans and surviving spouses who require help from another person with activities of daily living.
- If this does not apply to you or your loved one, we may be able to find a different veterans’ benefit to help you.
- The majority of a claimant’s income must be spent on care expenses.
- The percentage of income currently spent on care will determine the benefits they receive.
- The VA establishes a limit for the assets a claimant may possess to maintain eligibility.
- Age and financial need are key factors in this limit.
VA benefits like Aid and Attendance can make a world of difference for veterans and their families who struggle with senior care costs. These benefits are:
- Paid directly to claimants by the US Treasury every month.
- Awarded in addition to military pensions.
- Not required to be paid back as long as claimant is eligible.
- Tax free.
