Amada Senior Care Milwaukee
D.R. and Ronda Salerno, owners of Amada Senior Care Milwaukee, are dedicated to providing compassionate and personalized care to their neighbors in Mequon, Menomonee Falls, Milwaukee, Brookfield, Greenfield, Muskego, South Milwaukee, Franklin, Oak Creek, Caledonia, New Berlin, and nearby communities.
D.R. says, “My grandfather came to the United States in 1952. He was a tailor, and he moved here with only his skilled trade and put away enough money to bring the rest of the family here in 1955, when my mother was eight years old. From my grandfather, I learned the importance of providing care for family, taking care of your own, and being there when a loved one needs you. At Amada Milwaukee, we look at each of our clients as members of our family, and care for them accordingly.”
D.R’s personal history and respect for our elders combined with Ronda’s experiences as a caregiver make them uniquely well-qualified to provide the highest quality of care for our clients at Amada Milwaukee. Ronda says, “I spent about ten years as a caregiver myself, so I’ve been in peoples’ homes taking care of their daily needs. I know how important it is to families to make sure they have a good, qualified, caring person in the home taking care of their mom, dad, or loved one. It’s not easy to find a great caregiver, and it’s a very important role. Through my experience, I’ve learned what it takes and what needs to be done, and now I’m hiring caregivers to send into homes to take care of peoples’ loved ones. It’s really important that they’re good people and that they care about the client, take care of their needs, and support the family while they’re doing that.”
We understand that it takes a tremendous amount of trust to invite a stranger into your home and rely on them for personal care for yourself or someone you love. At Amada Milwaukee, we work hard to make sure we earn the trust each client and family places in us on a daily basis.
Whether we are caring for a senior in his or her home, helping a family select the best assisted living community for their loved one, or empathizing with a client’s emotional journey through senior care, it’s our mission to ease burdens and enrich the lives of every person we work with.

They have provided the highest standards of care for both of my parents, for the past 18 months. Their caregivers are truly patient, compassionate and caring. The owners work personally and tirelessly to meet the ongoing, changing needs of every client, and adapt the client's individualized careplan to meet their unique needs. The owners will also work with each client's family to decrease their workload (in our case, they are our liaison with our long-term care insurance company, submitting bills and communicating with them on an ongoing basis). The caregivers are available on short-term notice, often with the ability to provide same-day service when needed. Amada's caregivers are available 24/7/365. I found the best company to care for my aging parents. I trust them 100% with my parents' safety, well-being, and happiness, and I know they're receiving the best care possible.
We used Amada to help with my father, we called them and they started a caregiver same day. We were impressed with the service, would recommend them to other families looking for care.
Thanks for all your help in providing efficient and kind care workers. The service with Long-term care insurance claims has been great.
Senior Housing Advising
At Amada Milwaukee, we have extensive experience as senior housing advisers, and we can guide you and your family through the selection process so that you are certain you have made the right decision for your loved one. We also help seniors and their families with the transition to senior living, and continue to check in with them to make sure they are feeling content and settled.
Since we have worked with most of the senior housing communities in the Milwaukee area, we have a “behind the curtain” view that seniors and their families are not likely to see during the normal tour. It is this knowledge that allows us to direct seniors to the new home that will best meet their physical, emotional, and financial needs.
The first thing to decide when pursuing a move to senior housing is the level of care a senior will require. There are so many different types of senior communities in the Milwaukee area, from nursing homes that offer extensive support with activities of daily living and access to complex medical services, to independent living communities where help is still available when needed but the focus is more social. Your Amada adviser can direct you and your family to the type of home that will be best your unique situation.
At Amada, we believe senior living should not only keep a person safe and healthy, but that it should also enrich their lives. It’s important to us that we help seniors find the new home where they can be happiest and most comfortable, and to do this we need to understand their personal needs and preferences. Factors such as the size of a senior community, social opportunities, location, lifestyle, and even aesthetics play a significant role in finding the ideal senior housing environment.
Another key factor in many families’ selection of an assisted living or senior housing community is the cost. Fortunately, we are experts at senior care financing, and we can help you and your family take advantage of all options to help make care more affordable, such as long-term care insurance, life insurance, veterans’ benefits, and more. You might be surprised at how affordable the community of your choice is after consulting with us!
The transition to assisted living necessarily comes with a range of emotions for seniors and for their loved ones, but is so much easier with the proper guidance. At Amada Milwaukee, we can help you and your family find the best senior living option, which may include:
- Assisted living communities
- Large and small communities
- Independent living communities
- Board and care homes
- Adult family homes
- Senior care homes
- Skilled nursing facilities
- Alzheimer/dementia communities
Home Care Technology
Many families believe that the only options when a beloved senior begins to be limited by age are in-home care or moving in with a family member or to an assisted living community. In the past, this may have been the case, but thanks to Amada Senior Care, there’s now another option: remote care through our BeClose home monitoring system.
BeClose allows seniors to remain living independently in their homes longer while their loved ones are confident in their safety. Each BeClose system is customized to suit a family’s particular needs, and clients can choose from products like button-free fall and emergency alarms, automated door locks and thermostats, medication monitors, and even indoor and outdoor security cameras. The entire system is designed to be unobtrusive in a senior’s home environment, so they should notice few changes to their daily lives, and BeClose sends real-time updates to their families through a secure mobile app. With BeClose, families are also alerted when a change in a senior’s behavior or routine is detected so they can re-assess their senior care needs.
If you are a senior who is determined to remain at home, or a family member concerned for a senior’s safety at home, BeClose might be the ideal solution for you. To learn more about remote care technology, Click Here for a Free Consultation with a Member of the Amada Team.
