Amada Senior Care Richland Hills
Jason Logan is the owner of Amada Richland Hills, and he knows from personal experience that finding the right care and support for an ill or aging family member is invaluable. Jason recounts, “When my mother was dying of cancer, my father and I knew we needed help to keep her comfortable during this difficult time in our lives. Simply knowing that a caregiver we trusted was looking after Mom alleviated so much of our stress and gave us piece of mind so that we could focus on spending precious moments together.” It is this type of support and compassionate care that Jason Logan and the team at Amada Richland Hills provide for our clients throughout the greater Fort Worth area, including Hurst, Colleyville, Bedford, Keller, Roanoke, Flower Mound, Westlake, Southlake, Arlington, Dalworthington Gardens, and surrounding communities.
Our mission at Amada Richland Hills is to enrich our clients’ lives in every way we can. This means going beyond helping with daily tasks such as cooking and housekeeping to find opportunities to improve a client’s day in meaningful ways and keep them smiling.
To provide the quality of care we believe every client deserves, our caregivers must quickly transition from being strangers to being trusted companions. In this way, we are able to understand clients’ unique needs and preferences and provide the highest level of personalized care and compassionate support.

Senior Housing Advising and Referrals
The move to an assisted living environment is often accompanied by a range of emotions for both seniors and their families. Seniors must learn to accept new limitations, adapt to an entirely new environment, and must often leave behind the homes that held their warmest memories. The family members of transitioning seniors must also often cope with the loss of a family home, a role-change in their relationships, and the fear that they won’t be able to afford the care their loved one deserves. These and other emotions our clients experience are normal, natural, and expected—and the team at Amada Richland Hills can ease your worries and help you find the ideal new home for you or your loved one.
The first thing to understand as you begin to investigate senior living arrangements is that each type of community offers different benefits and levels of support. Nursing homes provide more hands-on care and complex medical services, while assisted living communities provide help with basic ADLs to seniors who are able to live more independently.
Once we work with seniors and their loved ones to evaluate what care and safety needs must be met by their new community, we can focus on helping them find the placement that best fits their personalities, lifestyles, location preferences, and budgets. We can also help clients learn more about veterans’ benefits, government assistance, long-term care insurance, and other resources to help them cover the cost of care.
The senior housing advisers at Amada Richland Hills have years of experience specific to the greater Fort Worth area. BeClose home monitoring by Amada is a revolutionary, fully-customized system that provides families with the tools they need to feel confident in their loved one’s safety. Our clients can choose from devices such as fall and intruder alerts, indoor and outdoor security cameras, medication monitors, and even automatic thermostats and door locks that are designed to blend into a senior’s home environment. Each product in the BeClose system sends reports to families on daily activities through a simple-to-use mobile app, and BeClose also updates families when their seniors exhibit changes in behavior or routine that may be signs of changing care needs.

Veterans Assistance Programs
Many of the families we work with in the Richland Hills area are not aware that their senior care may be partially funded by government benefits for veterans. Specifically, the VA Aid and Attendance program is designed to help wartime veterans and their surviving spouses afford the assistance and care they deserve. Our Amada team can help you and your family learn more about veterans’ benefits and other resources. Click here for a Free Veteran’s Care Needs Consultation.
Four Main Points of Aid and Attendance Eligibility:
- Qualified applicants must have served a minimum of 90 days’ active duty, with at least one day served during wartime. Surviving spouses of qualified veterans are also eligible for VA Aid and Attendance.
- Dishonorable discharge excludes applicants from this program.
- Claimant must require help with activities of daily living from another person.
- These activities may include meal preparation and eating, walking, bathing, and more.
- The majority of an applicant’s income must currently be spent on care.
- The amount of income spent on care helps to determine the benefits awarded, up to a national maximum.
- The claimant’s assets must not exceed an amount established by the VA.
- This limit is determined by applicant age and financial need, among other factors.
VA Aid and Attendance benefits:
- Are tax free.
- Never need to be repaid as long as claimant remains eligible.
- Are paid directly to claimants on a monthly basis by the US Treasury.
