Senior Housing Advising
Assisted living communities provide help with basic activities of daily living; like bathing, dressing, feeding and assistance with transferring and mobility. Some states allow assisted living communities to offer medication reminders or assistance. Assisted living facilities differ from nursing homes in that they typically do not offer more complex medical assistance.
When it comes to assisted living communities, every senior’s needs and desires are unique. Amada helps families evaluate their options based on budget, location, care needs and personal preference.
We’re also able to help you determine the best way to pay for an assisted living facility. Our expertise in Veteran’s Benefits, long-term care insurance, and other types of financial assistance to fund care can help ensure you are utilizing the best financial vehicle available to you.
Amada’s senior living community advising services are free to our clients. By offering both caregiving and senior housing advising, we are truly able to help those who need care find the care option that best fits their unique situation.
We have relationships with hundreds of senior care and assisted living communities in the South Jersey area, so we can help you quickly identify the facility that best meets your loved one’s needs. We specialize in referrals for the following types of facilities:
- Assisted living communities
- Large and small communities
- Independent living communities
- Board and care homes
- Adult family homes
- Senior care homes
- Skilled nursing facilities
- Alzheimer/dementia communities
The BeClose with Amada system is designed to help you take care of a loved one from anywhere. Our technology provides information on daily activities and reports behavioral patterns to a web-based platform. It also sends these reports directly to your mobile device or email address if you choose. No matter where you are, you will always be aware of any changes to the habits or routine of your senior loved one, so you can address potential problems before they become major issues. When those you love need you, it’s best to be close. The BeClose with Amada system makes that possible, even if you can’t be physically near your elderly loved one. - Veteran must not have a dishonorable discharge.
- Claimant must currently need help with activities of daily living from another person.
- Daily living activities can include feeding, bathing, dressing, transferring, etc.
- Veteran must currently be spending the majority of their income on expenses related to their care.

- The aid and attendance benefit is tax free.
