Amada Senior Care Boise
Amada Senior Care Boise is a family-owned business to its core. The owner, Robert Christensen, opened his first Amada franchise offices in Washington and Oregon more than a decade ago and has helped thousands of seniors have positive in-home care experiences with trained Amada caregivers. Robert is proud to pass the “Caring Baton” to the next generation, specifically, his daughter, Elizabeth, and son-in-law, Brett Devore.
Elizabeth grew up visiting her father’s clients and working alongside office staff to support our excellent caregivers. Brett understands from personal experience the sacrifices which families are often required to make as they manage the care needs of their aging loved one. From their family to yours, Brett and Elizabeth are eager to provide personalized support to senior clients needing help with everyday tasks, respite care and resources to their families on the senior care journey, and guidance for navigating the stages of aging in place.
Says Elizabeth, “Caring for family elders is a beautiful and intense experience. I’ve personally seen how difficult it can be for family members to play the role of caregiver for their aging parents or grandparents while simultaneously trying to manage their own livelihood and responsibilities. The exceptional care we provide enables family members to put down their role of caregiver and return to experiencing the simple joy of being present with their loved one as their spouse, child, or sibling again.”
Says Brett, “Our parents and grandparents have done so much for us throughout their lives. It’s an honor to be able to give them the attention and care they need at a time when they need it most—not only them but their families as well. Being able to guide families through the process of helping their loved one age in place is extremely rewarding. I’ve seen the incredible impact that high-quality, personalized care can have on seniors, and we look forward to providing the best care designed to enrich the lives of seniors and their families throughout Boise and its surrounding communities.
Expert Guidance on Senior Housing, Long-Term Care Insurance Claims, and VA Benefits
At Amada Boise, we strive to offer comprehensive senior care options so that we can provide the right solution for each senior’s unique needs. Many of the seniors we serve wish to remain living in their homes but require assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, bathing, dressing, running errands, and being reminded when to take prescribed medication. Our home care aides provide support with all these and so much more with a highly personal touch, because we truly want to enrich seniors’ lives on a daily basis. Not only does this customized assistance help seniors enjoy their later years and support them as they age with dignity, but it also allows their loved ones to spend more quality time with them instead of taking on caregiver roles.
If in-home care is not appropriate for a senior, our experienced and knowledgeable senior advisors will help families explore all senior housing options in the Greater Boise area until we find the very best living environment for the senior loved one. We also offer home monitoring options to help families feel confident that their beloved elder is safe at home. At Amada Boise, we never want families to feel that they need to compromise a senior’s care because of financial concerns, so we gladly help them explore funding solutions such as Long-Term Care insurance (LTCi) or a life insurance policy, VA benefits for qualified veterans and their spouses, or other financial care options.
