Non-medical caregiving for U.S. veterans includes a range of supportive services that enhance their daily lives and overall well-being. This can involve assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, housekeeping, transportation to appointments, and companionship to combat loneliness. Caregivers can also provide emotional support, help with managing schedules, and offer respite care for family members. Additionally, they may assist with errands, mobility support, and engaging veterans in social and recreational activities to promote a sense of community and purpose. These services ensure that veterans maintain their independence while receiving the care and attention they deserve.

I was visiting my family member at Makenzie and a caregiver Harley was excellent! She was caring, helpful, knowledgeable and just the kind of person my family member needs to have around. I would recommend Harley for anyone needing a good caregiver!

×

Been with this company for almost 3 months, and they have been nothing but amazing and understanding. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone and everyone.

×

Amada takes amazing care of my parents. They are able to stay in their home & stay independent. The caregivers are loving, caring & great with my dad. They receive good training when hired & really care. The office is easy to deal with and the schedulers are accommodating. I highly recommend Amada to anyone that needs senior assistance. .

×

Communication is a problem for Amada. No nurse for over three weeks, yet no one calls to see how things are going. Getting charged in excess of $30/hr but no nurses show up. I am beyond disappointed. Unethical and extremely unprofessional. I am very angry that they would treat my father, and my family like they would rather NOT deal with us at all.

Amada takes care of my parents in Colorado Springs. They take my dad on walks, and help my mom sort thru the refrigerator, and all of her craft/storage areas. Mom was hesitant, but she loves the help, and she can also get out of the house and not worry about dad during the day. Amada figured out their Long-Term care insurance, so no cost to my parents’ fixed income (or to me!). Highly recommend!

This is not where the employee office is located. But I love that Amada can go into independent living and assist in taking care of there seniors.. Amada covers such a majority of Colorado that it doesn’t matter where you live, you’ll be in great hands.

Amada is amazing and treated my mother with complete dignity & respect. She had amazing caregivers and the office was great to work with. I will always recommend Amada to anyone that needs good care!

Absolutely do not go with Amada Senior Care. One of their workers actually stole tons from my grandma and the owner did nothing and lied about the lady working there for a long time when she only worked there for a few months. For someone to take advantage of a poor old lady is terrible , and for the company to do nothing about it is truly appalling.

Becoming an Amada caregiver is a deeply rewarding experience, filled with moments of genuine connection and compassion. It offers the opportunity to make a real difference in someone’s life, whether by providing companionship, assisting with daily tasks, or simply offering a comforting presence. The role fosters patience, empathy, and a profound appreciation for the strength and resilience of others. Seeing the impact of your kindness and care firsthand brings a unique sense of fulfillment, turning everyday moments into meaningful acts of service and love.

Here at Amada Monument, it is our goal to exceed a family’s expectations of what senior care can be while we meet all of a family’s senior care needs. When we are asked to provide in-home care for a senior, we go beyond helping with activities of daily living such as cooking and housekeeping. We take the extra steps to enrich our client’s life in ways that are most meaningful to him or her. Discussing a favorite scripture with Aunt Susie, baking Pop’s favorite cookies or helping Grandma Jean keep up her prized flower garden—these are all personal touches to the care we provide. By adding these customized tasks to our care repertoire, we are able to show our senior clientele just how much they are truly valued as we strive to vastly improve the quality of their lives.

When home is no longer the ideal environment for a senior, we will guide that senior and his or her family to the assisted living environment that better suits their unique needs and preferences. We will even continue to check in on clients who have moved to senior housing communities, just to make sure we haven’t missed an opportunity to be of service to them.

At Amada Monument, we have learned through personal and professional experiences that the loved ones of senior care clients are often overlooked. We know how stressful and overwhelming it can feel to try to ensure the best care for a loved one who struggles due to his or her age. We believe that if we are to properly honor our calling to provide the best senior care possible, we must make sure that a senior client’s loved ones feel encouraged and supported throughout their senior care journey.

We invite you to contact us at Amada Senior Care Monument to learn more about how we can help a senior in your life age with dignity and give your family the peace of mind they deserve. Let our family take care of yours, because, as we say, “Someone you love needs us.”
