Amada Senior Care North Atlanta
Lisa Pierson, owner of Amada Senior Care North Atlanta, has worked as a nurse for more than 12 years. Lisa says she loves working with people, and especially with seniors, and that this is part of what motivated her to open Amada North Atlanta. Like so many of our team members, Lisa was also motivated to provide senior care options to her community by her own personal experiences. According to Lisa, “I was fortunate enough to have grown up with all four of my grandparents. I was very close to them, and I do believe they are of the greatest generation. They lived through some hard times, but always managed to come out on top.”
Lisa recalls, “Later in life, my grandmother had some memory issues and she needed some additional help. We didn’t know where to turn, what resources were out there, or how we were going to pay for her care. It was a challenge. Here at Amada Senior Care North Atlanta, we want to help you find the right resources and knowledge to navigate through this difficult time.” Our care extends to Duluth, Sandy Springs, Dunwoody, Norcross, Decatur, Buckhead, Virginia Highlands, Little Five Points, and other communities in the North Atlanta area.
At Amada Senior Care North Atlanta each member of our team shares Lisa’s appreciation and respect for our elders, and it is important that we allow them to age with dignity and continue to enjoy the things they love doing. As in-home caregivers, we assist our clients with activities of daily living such as meal preparation and light housekeeping, but we find ways to make even the most routine activities feel special. By getting to know each senior’s unique needs, preferences, and personality, we are able to enrich their lives as we keep them safe, comfortable, and happy.
If living at home is no longer ideal for a beloved senior in your life, we can also guide you and your family with our assisted living placement services so that you find the ideal environment for your situation. We’ll even help you explore resources to help you pay for care or assisted living and advocate for you with long-term care insurance carriers.
We truly want to support you and your family through all aspects of senior care and alleviate as many of your burdens as we can so that you can simply focus on creating more memories with the ones you love.

Senior Housing Advising
When a beloved senior is no longer thriving at home, families can easily become overwhelmed by the prospect of finding the right assisted living environment to suit their particular needs. With so many factors to consider, such as location, cost, lifestyle, and level of care, it can be difficult to know where to begin—and how do you know you’ve made the right decision?
At Amada Senior Care North Atlanta, we are uniquely well-qualified to help families find, fund, and transition to the ideal senior living environment for their loved one. Through our years of experience, we have formed relationships with nearly every nursing home and assisted living community in an around North Atlanta, so we have insight into each facility far beyond what is presented in the average family tour. We are also experts at helping families explore every option and resource available to help them afford the care their loved one deserves.
When exploring senior living options, the first thing families need to consider is the level of care their loved one will require, since this will dictate the type of community most appropriate for them. Among the most common options are nursing homes, which offer more support and access to complex medical services; and assisted living communities, where a senior can live more independently but still receive help with activities of daily living.
Once we establish the type of residential care community is most appropriate for a senior, we then work with that client and his or her family to identify the more personal factors that will impact his or her enjoyment of life. In this way, we can guide our senior clients to the placement that will best suit their location needs, activity level, social preferences, and lifestyle.
The transition to a senior living environment is always an emotional time for seniors and their families, but the team at Amada Senior Care North Atlanta can guide you through the entire process with compassion and expertise so you’ll be confident you have found the best possible placement for the senior you love.
We provide referrals to all types of senior living communities in North Atlanta and surrounding communities, including:

Home Care Technology
At Amada North Atlanta, we take pride in customizing senior care so that every family we work with finds the ideal solution for their unique situation. One senior care option we are especially excited to offer is our revolutionary home monitoring system, BeClose, which allows seniors to live safely and independently at home.
BeClose is a remote care system that each family can tailor to meet their needs. We offer an array of products and devices to choose from, such as automated thermostats and door locks, indoor and outdoor cameras, medication monitors, and button-free fall and emergency alerts. Each product in the BeClose system is designed to blend in to a senior’s home environment so that they can go about life just as they always have with very few changes, except for one: their families will never need to wonder if they are safe. BeClose provides families with regular updates through a secure mobile app, so they can keep a loving eye on seniors from anywhere in the world. This system can also notify families to changes in a senior’s behavior or routine, which may signal the need for more care.
BeClose is the ideal solution for seniors who are determined to live at home and the families that worry about them. If you would like to learn more about remote care technology, please contact Amada for a free BeClose consultation.
