As a manager I have to have a agency that always has my back. I use Amada because they always meet my needs. The office staff are super sweet and very helpful. I can call them in need and it’s not long before they notify me that my needs are being met. The caregivers they use have always came and worked very hard and complete the shifts. They have treated my residents with respect, along with respecting my staff and my caregivers. I spoke with Toya about help with my brother. Unfortunately they do not take his insurance but she was very helpful in giving me some resources for companies that do. She was very professional and kind and even though we did not end up going with this company I really appreciate her help. You can really tell she cares.

There care takers still from elderly blind people. Then refuse to pay the money back that there employee took. I wouldn’t let them take care of an enemy after this.
Amada has saved my life. I am a full-time careging wife for a husband with Parkinson’s. Our Amada caregiver, Helen goes above and beyond! She is a huge help around the house. She watches my husband like a hawk and I believe has prevented many of his frequent falls Helen has a great “bedside manner” and we both love her!!!
We use Amanda Care givers when I have to leave town. They are so well trained & have big hearts. Amanda staff are amazing too work with from booking to filling with our Long Term Care insurance policy. I don’t even consider calling anyone else.
We started using Amada Senior Care for my Dad, 2 weeks ago. So far we have been very happy with them. Olu, my Dad’s caregiver, has been great. She’s met all of our expectations, and then some. She’s great at dealing with my Dad’s dementia and getting him to do things we aren’t able to.

My mother had a stroke two days after Mother’s Day this year. It was so unexpected; especially after her relatively successful battle against colon cancer, a partial foot amputation amongst other ailments. I did not see the stroke coming, leaving her paralyzed on one side and unable to speak. Mommy wanted to come home after being in hospital for over a week. As Mommy’s sole caregiver, I knew I would need help. Both Traditions Hospice and Memorial Hermann Health Systems recommended Amada Senior Care to me. Amada was able to provide support the first day I called. Although the first person did not work out as well as I had hoped, Evelyn (5 nights) and Girlee (1 night) worked 12 hour shifts 8 PM – 8 AM – provided absolutely superb support! They shifted my Mommy every few hours, emptying the urine collector, bathed Mommy and put a fresh gown on her daily, and ensured her airway was unobstructed and her mouth cleaned. Although I got up every four hours to administer Mommy’s meds, I was able to rest knowing Evelyn and Girlee were watching over her. On her last shift, Evelyn was here, and I was in my office working on things for Mommy. She told me to come quickly because it was Mommy’s time. Mommy was surrounded by peace and love. Thank you Amada Senior Care for your service, care, compassion. Evelyn and Girlee provided perfect service for Mommy and me! I highly recommend Amada Senior Care – Shenandoah TX if you need help caring for a loved one!
Amada Senior Care in Shenandoah TX has provided services for my elderly Aunt on two different occasions. The services were both short term and the caregivers were absolutely wonderful. They all did a fantastic job. My Aunt fully recovered both times with their caregiver assistance so she could continue to live independently. The office staff is very pleasant, easy to work with on scheduling and very helpful with any questions I had. I would highly recommend them and I thank Amada for making it easy on my Aunt and my family during her time of need.
