My experience with Amada Senior Care began in October 2023, following a serious fall that left me with a fractured right tibial plateau. After an ambulance ride, ER visit, surgery, and a week in the hospital, I was transferred to a rehabilitation facility for nearly six more weeks. Suddenly, Medicare coverage ended, and I faced an unexpected discharge home, still facing a 6-9 month recovery. Mid-70s, with an elderly husband and no family nearby, I needed considerable help transitioning from bed-bound to wheelchair, then to a walker, cane, and eventually independent mobility.

Thankfully, I had purchased long-term care insurance years ago, and my insurance agent referred me to Amada Senior Care. Dell handled the setup, guiding me through the service process, while Veronica managed my initial nursing assessment and updated my care plan as I progressed. My caregiver was an exceptional young CNA—she balanced college, motherhood, and her responsibilities with me. She took care of everything from personal care to household chores, appointments, and meal preparation, keeping my spirits up with her positive attitude.

Amada’s team went above and beyond. The management, nursing, and caregiver support were truly exceptional, creating a safe and supportive environment. Their communication was prompt, their care genuine, and their commitment to my well-being unwavering. While I’m grateful for a successful surgery and rehab, I owe much of my comfort, safety, and mental health throughout my recovery journey to Amada Senior Care.

Amada Senior Care of Orlando gave the best care to my mother! Our family's needs changed as her health declined, but they were willing to adjust her care plan at every step. At times, we needed to change hours, add hours, or even cancel, but the owners, Veronica and Dell, never complained and instead were accommodating, even if it meant temporarily swapping caregivers. Not only were they caring but also treated us as if we were friends for years. In fact, they also paid hospital visits to say hello. Our family sincerely thanks the owners and the care staff! Amada Orlando is the best company in the home care space! Their caregivers are very attentive to clients and treat these seniors s if they were providing care for their own family member. Management by the owners is top-notch. In anticipation of client emergencies arising, Dell and Veronica sleep with the phone next to them in order to respond quickly.
