Amada Senior Care Rhode Island

Sheri and Patrick Kennedy, owners of Amada Senior Care of Rhode Island, are native Rhode Islanders who want to support seniors in the state they love.

“We are proud to be a veteran-owned and female-owned senior care business,” says Sheri. “Our decision to open an in-home care business was to help seniors in Rhode Island enjoy life without worry of dealing with the unclear landscape of senior care.”

We were both lucky to have our grandparents into adulthood and know the care it takes to make sure seniors live a long, happy and fulfilling life.

“We are committed to creating strong bonds with the families that we serve, so that we can provide them personalized care that will enrich their lives,” says Patrick.

Our services are not limited to in-home care, as we see families through every aspect of senior care. This means we can help families identify the best living environment for their needs, help them make sense of long-term care insurance policies and other methods of financing, and provide any other solutions to make sure our seniors are safe, comfortable, and content.

“Patrick being a Certified Senior Advisor puts Amada Senior Care of Rhode Island in a position to help guide the seniors in Rhode Island to the best possible options and care,” says Sheri.

We live in North Kingstown with our twin daughters, Angie and Madelina, and our rescue dog, Max. “We look forward to making you a part of our family!”

Senior Housing Advising

At Amada Senior Care of Rhode Island, we realize that in-home care may not be enough to meet the needs of some seniors and that our clients may one day need to consider transitioning to an environment where they can get a little more support. We also realize that the prospect of moving to an assisted living or senior care community may be intimidating to our clients and their loved ones on a number of levels.

The transition to a care community may be new to you, but we have experience helping seniors find the ideal living situations to meet their needs in Barrington, Coventry, Cranston, Cumberland, East Greenwich, East Providence, Lincoln, Newport, North Kingstown, Portsmouth, Providence, Smithfield, South Kingstown, Warwick, Westerly, and other cities and towns throughout Rhode Island. We encourage our clients to rely on our in-depth knowledge so they can feel confident that they have found the right place for their lifestyles in cities and towns throughout Rhode Island.

When considering a care community or assisted living, it is crucial that we honestly evaluate the unique needs and preferences of each client. Some seniors may do best in a nursing home where more complex medical care is available, while others may benefit most from an assisted living community where they can live more independently and still get help with basic activities of daily living.

Many seniors and their families hesitate to consider transitioning to a care community because they are worried about costs. At Amada Senior Care of Rhode Island, we never want financial concerns to prevent our clients from enjoying safe and happy lives. We always provide our placement services for no cost, and our advisers can help families take full advantage of resources like long-term care insurance and veterans’ programs to help them fit superior care into their budgets.

Our goal is to ensure that each of our clients is safe and happy, whether this is accomplished through in-home care or referral to the most suitable place for this stage of their lives, which may include:

  • Assisted living communities
  • Large and small communities
  • Independent living communities
  • Adult family homes
  • Senior care homes
  • Skilled nursing facilities
  • Alzheimer/dementia communities
