Senior Housing Advising Services
At Amada Senior Care West Richmond, our goal is to help our senior clients live their best lives. So when living at home is no longer the best option for a client, we work with that client and his or her loved ones to find the best assisted living community for their unique situation.
There are so many factors a family must take into consideration when looking for a senior community, such as the level of care provided by a facility, which place will best contribute to a senior’s happiness and comfort, and whether the community of choice will present too large a financial burden. We have learned through years of experience the best ways to address each of these concerns and help families make decisions about future care with confidence.
There are a number of different types of care communities in the West Richmond area, and each provides a different level of care. Nursing homes are typically able to provide substantial assistance with activities of daily living and also offer complex medical services that may not be available in another type of residential care environment. Assisted living communities still offer help with ADLs but usually don’t have complex medical facilities on-site and may allow a senior to live more independently.
Fortunately for our clients and their loved ones, we at Amada have established working relationships with nearly every care community in the West Richmond area. Since we are familiar with the culture, lifestyle, and options each community offers, we can help guide our clients to the new home that will be the best fit for them.
Frequently, clients and families hesitate to consider senior housing an option because they assume it will be too expensive for them. At Amada, we are familiar with all options and resources to help cover the cost of care, such as veterans’ benefits, long-term care insurance, life insurance, and others. With our support, you might be surprised by how affordable the care community of your choice can be!

Home Care Technology
As seniors begin to face limitations due to their age, loved ones who want to keep them safe often present options such as in-home care, moving in with family, or assisted living. But what if there were an option that allowed seniors to continue living in their homes but also allowed their loved ones to be confident in their safety? There is. It’s called BeClose home monitoring by Amada Senior Care.
BeClose allows families to keep a loving eye on seniors from anywhere in the world. Each BeClose remote care system is fully customizable, so families choose only the options that they need. Some of the more popular products in this line include medication monitors, security cameras, automated door locks and thermostats, and emergency alerts for falls, intruders, fire, and more. Each device is visually low-profile and easy to use, and they all provide regular updates to families through a secure mobile app they can check at any time. BeClose also notifies families when a change in behavior patterns or routines may signal the need to re-assess a senior’s care and living situation.
With BeClose, seniors can preserve their independence while their loved ones can preserve peace of mind, knowing that they are safe and comfortable. To learn more, contact Amada for a Free BeClose Consultation.

BeClose is one of the most recent solutions that have contributed to Amada’s reputation for leading the senior care industry with technology. Another revolutionary system we devised is our Transparent online portal system. Transparent is a secure yet easy-to-use application that allows families to communicate with Amada caregivers and receive updates on caregiver duties and how their senior loved one is doing.
