Amada Senior Care Sacramento
As the owner of Amada Senior Care Sacramento, Naveen Vaid is dedicated to making the life of every senior we work with easier, safer, and more pleasant. Since taking on this mission, Naveen and his team have built Amada Sacramento into one of the most respected senior care companies in the area—and Naveed says this is merely the beginning of the impact he hopes to make on our community.
The stellar reputation earned by Amada Sacramento has extended to Roseville, Rockland, Folsom, Clarksville, Loomis, Fair Oaks, Arden, and surrounding areas. This success is fueled by our team’s conviction that excellent in-home senior care is only achieved when caretakers go beyond the expected tasks like cooking and housework to understand and meet each client’s unique needs and desires. The personal bonds we form with our clients allows us to find consistently meaningful ways to bring enjoyment into their lives.
Amada caregivers are trained to provide assistance with
Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) like:
If you or a loved one in the Sacramento area could benefit from assistance with these or other activities of daily living, we at Amada Senior Care are happy to help. Not only do we provide our clients with quality in-home care, but our support extends far beyond that. We also monitor our caregivers on a regular basis, check in with clients and their families to learn whether there is more we can do to assist them, guide families through the senior living selection and placement processes, and advise clients on how to maximize their benefits from the VA, long-term care insurance policies, and other resources.

Dane has a heart of gold, and it really shows in how his caregivers take care of the seniors they serve. The caregivers Amada sent were attuned, they were patient with my Mom (which was honestly difficult at times because of her Alzheimer's), and they always made sure she had what she needed. Unfortunately she's not with us anymore, but I'm so glad that the team at Amada was there to take care of her when she needed it most.
Senior Housing Advising and Placement Assistance
In the Sacramento area, seniors and their families have a wide range of assisted living communities, nursing homes, and senior housing communities to choose from. Our Amada Senior Care team members understand that the transition to a senior or care community is far more than a simple relocation: it often signifies a new way of life. This can feel overwhelming to say the least, and we are here to support our clients and their families through the entire process.
The first step for our senior housing advisory experts is to work with clients and their loved ones to honestly assess their care needs as well as other factors such as budgets, lifestyle, and location preferences. With this information, we can help families explore the best options for their unique situations.
These days, the “old folk’s homes” of past generations are long gone and our clients have an array of different types of communities to choose from. For seniors who require more complex medical support, a nursing home can provide the care they need in a comfortable environment. Seniors who seek to live a bit more independently may be happiest in an assisted living community which offers a more independent and dynamic lifestyle.
The team at Amada Sacramento has working relationships with every type of senior community in our area, and we make use of our experience and knowledge to help clients and their families find the perfect place. Our senior housing advisers also help clients tackle the financial issues associated with transitioning to a care community by encouraging them to make the best use of resources like VA benefits and long-term care insurance.
Assisted living communities are designed to provide help for residents with basic ADLs. Some states also allow assisted living communities to offer medication assistance and/or reminders. Unlike nursing homes, though, assisted living communities do not offer complex medical services.
Every senior has unique care needs and preferences when it comes to assisted living communities. Amada is able to help families narrow down their options based on individual care needs, budget, location, and personal preferences.
Because Amada has extensive experience with long-term care insurance, veterans’ programs, and other non-traditional payment options, we’re also able to help families figure out the best ways to pay for assisted living. You don’t have to navigate this process alone.
All of Amada’s senior housing and assisted living placement services are completely free to our clients. By offering care giving and placement services, we are able to help seniors find the living arrangement that suits them best.
If you or your loved one has considered moving from a home-care, hospital, or rehab environment to a situation that offers more support and assistance, we can help you explore all options available to you. Amada Sacramento can refer you to the ideal community for your unique needs, as we regularly refer clients to:
- Assisted living communities
- Large and small communities
- Independent living communities
- Board and care homes
- Adult family homes
- Senior care homes
- Skilled nursing facilities
- Alzheimer/dementia communities
Home Care Technology
Amada Senior Care has partnered with some of the top software and technology developers to bring about a revolution in in-home care: BeClose. BeClose is the ideal solution for seniors who wish to remain independent at home and the family members who worry about them.
With BeClose, we allow our clients to choose from a number of different devices and services to custom-build the ideal home monitoring system for them. Some of our most popular products include bed and fall alerts, medication monitors, security cameras, and even automated light switches and thermostats. Each device sends real-time updates to family members’ emails or mobile phones, so they can always keep a virtual eye on senior loved ones. BeClose also compiles reports on behavior and activity patterns, so families are able to identify any changes in routine that may signal the need for more comprehensive care to ensure their loved one’s safety.
Whether you live across town from a beloved senior or across the world, Amada gives you the power to BeClose! For more information on our use of technology to improve senior care, click here for a Free Care Needs Consultation regarding our BeClose system.
Assistance for Aging Veterans
We are proud to serve a number of our country’s military veterans and their spouses at Amada Senior Care Sacramento, and we have seen that many of these individuals aren’t making full use of the benefits available to help them cover the cost of care. It is our mission to make sure that all veterans, surviving spouses of veterans, and their families know exactly what types of government assistance and benefits are available to them.
One especially beneficial resource for many seniors is the VA Aid and Attendance benefits program. If you are not sure whether you or your loved one qualifies for VA benefits for assistance with activities of daily living, please contact us for a Free Veteran’s Care Needs Consultation.
Who Qualifies for VA Aid and Attendance Benefits:
- Claimants of VA Aid and Attendance must have served at least one day of active duty during a time of war and at least 90 days total active duty. Surviving spouses of qualified veterans may also receive these benefits.
- Dishonorable discharge precludes applicants from these benefits.
- Assistance from another person with activities of daily living (ADLs) is necessary.
- ADLs might include eating, bathing, dressing, walking, and cognitive support.
- The majority of applicant’s income is spent on care.
- Percentage of income spent on care is a key factor in the benefits granted, up to a maximum amount.
- VA determines an acceptable limit of assets for benefit eligibility.
- Applicant’s age and financial need are key factors in the determination of this limit.
VA Aid and Attendance are a small measure of our nation’s gratitude for service and are designed to defray costs of senior care and ensure our veterans get the best care available. These benefits are:
- Tax free
- Not subject to repayment as long as eligibility is maintained
- Paid directly to claimants by the US Treasury
