We are extremally satisfied with Amada management and staff. Amada managers quickly and efficiently took action when medical conditions warranted. Staff and health care providers are always considerate and thoughtful when in contact with my wife. One prior provider, even though she left her employment, still calls or writes email to get an update on my wife’s wellness and recently wished her a happy 93rd birthday. Our current provider is very caring and even provided a beautiful cake for her 93rd birthday. Here caring gift made my wife very happy. I recommend Amada Senir Care to anyone needing home care

The operators of Amada Southern Fairfax are compassionate and kind professionals who have the best interest of senior clients and caregivers at heart. The Amada Senior Care management team, along with its caregivers, have provided great service during my parents' difficult life transitions. They had been aging in place but as their abilitity to care for themselves decreased, the owner Lou and manager Nese and their care team filled in the gaps. My parents eventually required 24x7 care. Not only was assistance with ADLs like cooking and light housekeeping provided, but also sincere companionship for my father who was dealing with grief after my mother passed away and was feeling lonely after many years of marriage.

The caregivers who assisted my mother and I in her last week of life were there for us when my mother passed. The comfort they provided –- from bathing her to holding her hand to sharing the care load with me during my mother's last days was incredibly supportive.

Then, when my father transitioned to assisted living because of dementia, Amada's caregiver supported him in accepting the transition, and walked the entire way with us on move-in day. She helped my father start participating in activities at the memory care community and helped him to make friends. She also assisted in setting up his apartment and met with the staff CNAs to help them get to know my father.

Lou and Nese communicated clearly and were compassionate and efficient. They were always available to answer questions or make care updates due to changing needs, and disseminating critical information to the caregivers and to our family. They gave us a deeper understanding of elder needs, and were a truly compassionate and supportive presence during the funeral.

We are forever grateful for Lou, Nese and the Amada caregiver team. All of them have been invaluable in supporting my parents as well as our family during very challenging care transitions.

Amada Senior Care is like family providing professional assistance in negotiating the maze of paperwork associated with making a claim with our long term insurance company, and offering advice on home health care resources. Above all, they leaned forward and succeeded in finding a home health careworker that far exceeded my expectations. I couldn't have asked for a nicer or more competent worker. She was punctual, carried out her duties energetically and without prompting; and above all, she became a close and compassionate friend of my wife. Even in the last days of my wife's dementia she succeeded in getting her to smile and seem to enjoy the companionship. Amada did a great job of selecting a care worker that matched our situation.
